![]() Earlier this week, I discovered a new game on Facebook called "Guess the 90s" which is a trivia game that ask different 90s questions. Well that game gave my poor Galaxy S4 phone the deadly black screen of death. This whole week I've been having withdrawals of not having my phone because I use my phone to keep up with all my emails and social media on the go. Not having my phone has taught me a lesson that I need to find a balance from my work from home life and personal life. I just can't believe how dependent I am to my cell phone and computer that I really don't take the time to just enjoy life. Working from home will always be there, it's just that I need to find a way to balance the two.
My coworker at my job had a valid point that she made me realize is remembering the days when we didn't have cell phones, our lives were much more better since we weren't glued to our phones. What helped me a bit to cut down working online is by signing up with HootSuite to start scheduling my post instead of me doing it manually throughout the day. I think me posting a lot on my own played a big part of me always working. I currently schedule post through NetworkedBlogs but they don't have the option to schedule post and my work schedule is just too busy now to manually post all day. The minute I wake up in the mornings, I check my cell phone for emails, tweets, Facebook, and check my affiliate programs. (And I wonder why I'm almost always late dropping my kids off to school.) I'm happy that I cut down on posting on this blog because I feel like that gives me some time in the week to take a bit of a break and worry about other things, and also it gives my readers time to read my current blog post. I don't want my blog to start looking like a article bank. How do you find a balance between working from home and your personal life?

After working from home for the last 10+ years I've struggled with balance at different times as well. However, having access to my emails and social media from my phone is also a lifesaver allowing me to get work done while I'm away from my computer and at my children's various activities. Glad to have found your blog! Visiting from SitsShareFest!
