October sure was a fun month for me! My family and I celebrated my oldest daughter's birthday in Savannah, GA, and I did my first ever in person interview of Miguel Dakota, a finalist from the show America's Got Talent! I'm happy that I was able to face my fears and start doing interviews for my Product Review Mom blog. I knew the day would come when I needed to start but I didn't know it would happen so soon. America's Got Talent PR company contacted me to see if I would like to do an interview of Miguel since their tour stop would be in Atlanta. I was hesitant at first but then I thought this is on my bucket list so why not get it done and learn how conducting interviews works. I think I did a pretty good job considering it was my first time. But next time I'll need to use a voice recorder to make things easier so I don't have to email the PR person the questions I have asked him during the in-person interview. Anywho...here are my totals for October: 1. Private Clients- $242.45
2. Squidoo- $13.09 3. MaxBounty- $509.40 4. Escalate Network- $976.87 5. ROI Rocket- $1444.20 6. Panthera Network- $4931.80 Grand Total- $8117.81 My income is pretty much the same as last month and I'm not complaining at all, I'm very thankful of it. I gave myself the goal of making at least $5000 a month so I'm very happy to be making more. Last month I started my holiday gift guide which seems to be off to a good start, I'm getting a lot of clicks but no buys yet. Fingers crossed that I'll start making sales soon. I went the route of pretty much doing only affiliate links for my gift guide because I didn't feel like hunting down sponsors. I'll have paid sponsors here and there but I'm putting all my effort with affiliate marketing because that could bring me income that is consistent then a one time payment deal. This month I'll be attending several different events! I'll be heading down to Florida for a conference and I booked two press trips that I'll be going to while I'm out there, you got to wait and see what it is. But if you don't want to wait then make sure to follow my adventures on Instagram. Before I go, how do you feel when bloggers reveal their income each month? Do you think it should be kept to themselves or do you enjoy reading their monthly totals? The reason why I'm asking is because the topic came up last month in a group I'm in. The reason why I started revealing my totals so I could go back to see how much I've grown from blogging and show others that it is possible to make money from it. I see way too much negativity of people complaining they are not making money from their blog but some don't put in the time and effort to make their blog successful. Success with anything doesn't happen overnight, you have to work hard at it. I hope you all had a great month of earnings in October and cheers to November! Happy Earnings! -Louida

Louida thanks for being an inspiration again this month! I enjoy reading the reports and the analysis that goes behind the numbers because that is where the real gem is. You continue to inspire me and I am very happy for you and your success. You are doing it!

Thanks Bonita for your input. I like it when people spell out exactly how they're earning their income too.

Hey Lou!! I'm super proud of you! You've been doing great! You know we have stuck together since day on on Cashcrate girl lol. I'm so happy to see you still earning. I'm trying to get back into blogging also but it's so difficult after you have left for a while. I feel so lost and everything on the Internet is different it seems in the MMO world lol but hopefully I can find the time to get back into it soon. Keep up the good work!!

TRINI!!!!! Yep girl I remember when we met during our Cashcrate days! You are my first bloggy buddy back in 2008. Wow I can't believe it has been that long! I still earn every other month with Cashcrate but I never go on that site anymore, I earn from referrals.

Yup!!! Time sure does fly girl but I'm so happy to see my fellow buddies making it big :) super proud of you and your success is inspiring! I might take you up on that offer soon in regards to some help... But first I might need to switch jobs. Girl I don't get home til around 9 each night :(
I'm still working my full time job. My job allows me to be on the internet all day so I take that time to blog and research, also I try to blog in the evenings on the weekends. Now with my schedule being so busy I use a writer's service to hire freelance writers and have a virtual assistant.

Thank you so much for this. So many times people say they 'make money blogging' and I don't know if it's coffee money, car note money or mortgage money. :) As a single Mom I really wanted to know the cold hard facts and seeing is believing.

That is awesome!!!! This is the first time I have come across your blog, and I'm in love!!! You are such an inspiration to me! I have been needing to find something legitimate I can do from home besides my etsy shop! I have six children, so more income would be great and much needed! I clicked on the links where you have what you made beside each, but it looks like you need an actual blog for those. Is this the case? What do you recommend me trying out since I'm just starting but really could use some money at a pretty decent time frame lol!! Thanks so much!

Thanks for that information! I've started signing up with the surveys sites you've listed and completed several surveys already. Maybe I'll get into the writing stuff later ha! I do like to write, so who knows. Thanks again! 11/20/2014 10:58:44 am
I think it is necessary to post your earnings. I want to thank you personally for sharing. I would hope that you continue to inspire as you move through your blogging career. Blogging is still new and foreign to some and its going to take sometime for some to catch up with it however, as you continue you could provide and use your lessons as a blueprint. So why not post your earnings?
