I’ve never would’ve thought I would be making extra money online right now. I'm glad I’ve learned the world of online money making because it has helped me pay some of my bills and help pay my monthly rent. But my journey wasn't very easy at first, but with trial and error and learning from my mistakes, I now make a steady income of at least $300 dollars or more extra a month and I didn't pay a dime to make that money. Let me tell you about how I’ve gotten started working from home on the Internet. It all started back in January of 2008, when I was online at work at my full time job Googling ways to make free money online. While web searching, I’ve came across a work from home forum on Cafemom. I wanted to work from home instead of finding a part time job because I have two young daughters and I'm already away from my children all day with my full time job so I didn't want to be away from them even more. While searching the forums, I’d come across a mother posting a program called CashCrate. She was claiming you can make hundreds of dollars a month for free and it was risk free, she even posted proof of her payments. I thought to myself this sounds like a scam but I'll go ahead and check it out anyway.
When I went on Cashcrate’s website they were claiming that you could get paid for completing offers and surveys. Also they said there were no sign up fee. Seeing that sign up was free made me sign up right away! After signing up, I’ve seen several pages of offers to complete for cash. Some were free and some were not. It took me about a week to reach payout which at that time was $10. I’ve received my check within a month and thought to myself, "Geez....filling out all those offers for a small paycheck is not worth it!" So I didn't go back onto Cashcrate for several months. Continuing my work from home search online, all I ran into were work from home scams. Looking to work from home was harder than I thought so I stop looking . Several months have passed and I wasn't looking to work from home at all. My boyfriend and I income was still helping us get by until the unthinkable happened, my boyfriend started lost his job due to the bad economy. Christmas was just around the corner and I had a high dental bill that needed to be paid, so I had to find some type of part time work. We both started looking for part time jobs but couldn't come up with anything since companies were not hiring. I’ve started looking for work from home jobs again and then Cashcrate came back in my mind. I login into their website and started completing offers nonstop! I’ve felt like I was on the computer 24 hours a day completing offers! I even was completing offers at work! Cashcrate has a referral system to where you can make even more money by recruiting new members. So what I did was created a blog and found every single place to post my blog to get referrals. I was posting so much I became a spammer! I started getting kicked out of forums, blogs, and got blacklisted with some programs. I’ve learned that spamming is not the right way to go to build traffic to my blog. I went back on the Internet and looked for new ways to make money online with no investment and came across Google Adsense. Google was claiming I can make money with them by adding Google ads to my blog. I thought that would be pretty easy to do, so I signed up. What I didn't know is that I needed to have traffic in order to have people click on the ads on my blog, so once again I went on a spamming spree to get traffic. After awhile that got tiring so I quit doing that. I’ve started going onto SEO type forums and started to learn how to build my blog traffic the right way. What I’ve found out is having the right keywords and good quality updated content in my blog would help me receive traffic from search engines, so I’ve started updating my blog and writing articles and soon I’d made my first $100 with Google within 5 months of joining them. I’ve also started getting several referrals a day on Cashcrate and other work from home programs I’ve joined. I didn't limit myself to just making money paid surveys and offers; I also started making money with online focus groups. Since 2008, I’ve made about $10,000 online! But it doesn't stop there; I’ll still be working on different ways to increase my online income (without spamming) and try to make a full time income online if possible someday. What I’ve learned is, you can’t build traffic to your blog overnight. It takes hard work like writing good quality articles for my readers. Doing this technique has helped out my blog a lot. Everyday there is something new to learn about ways of making money online and I enjoy learning every bit of it! How did you learn about making money online? How did you get started?

I myself wanted to b a stay at home mom once my daughter was born--i have an associate degree in early childhood but what I would make in a. 40 hour week and pay in day care wasn't worth it.

I understand what you're saying Nikki about working full time and paying for Day Care and pretty much have nothing else left from your paycheck. I wish I could be a stay at home mom or at least work part time while my kids are at school but my household income prevents me to become one.
