Making money with mobile apps has never been easier for developers. Now you can monetize mobile apps quickly and seamlessly. But how do you do it?
A while back, I wrote an article on Android app monetization. I included sections on in-app advertising, microtransactions, and using a subscription model to monetize mobile apps. Now, I will go more in-depth on why you need targeted ads. Make sure your ads are targeted Many advertising companies, like non-mobile in-text advertising company Infolinks, do not have very targeted ads and therefore do not make much money for both advertisers (merchants) and publishers (bloggers). This means that people get ads that are not relevant to what they want to buy, so they do not click on their ads. The publisher does not get paid for a click, and the advertiser does not get paid because nobody buys his or her product or service. But there's hope Mobile app monetization companies tend to be a lot better at targeting customers (based on their demographics, personal tastes, what websites they visit, etc.) than non-mobile companies, though companies like INTENTclick are still good at non-mobile targeting. Because of this, if you have a mobile app that could carry ads, you stand to make a lot more money off of it than if you make only a non-mobile version and do not use a targeted ad company. Similarly, if you choose to go both ways (make a mobile and non-mobile version) make sure to use targeted advertising in both platforms so that you can make the most money online possible.
