January Earnings 2014

I can't believe how fast January came and gone!  It was definitely a very busy month for me dealing with family life, a lot of networking online, working with PR companies on my other blog, and dealing with the ice storm that hit in Atlanta last week (I made it safely home before everything started icing up).

January was a pretty good month in earnings considering that I'm still in my slow months.  But I'm still on the mission to make a full time living working online, all I need is to work on making good income during the Winter months and then I'll be all set.

Here are my January Totals:

My focus will continue to be networking on different social media platforms and growing my online presence.  I don't know why I wasn't doing it before because it's very important to network with others and get to know other bloggers, also it'll help with Google rankings since social media is becoming one of the most important factors with Google (link building is no longer important, it's all about how people interact with your content).  I've noticed being more interactive on Google+ has really helped my rankings on Google.  If you're not on Google+, you should be and make sure to follow me.

I'm having such a love and hate relationship with Facebook right now.  My fan page hardly gets any views due to Facebook wanting people to pay to get more views (which I'm not going to do), unless your fan page is huge with thousands of followers you still get a lot of views without needing to pay.  I know some people find a bit of success by placing links in comments section instead of having links in the post.  Also using automated posting (what I use) is not allowing a lot of people to see it on Facebook. 

But I will say what's nice about Facebook is that I had one of my blog post about Being a Product Review Blogger go viral on there and that was thanks to networking!  Someone I've network with seen my blog post and shared it on Facebook and people started sharing it all over.  Now you see why networking is important!


Since ProductReviewMom is starting to take a whole lot of my time, I'll be posting less on this blog.  I'll still have post every week, just not every day.  Make sure you're subscribed to my blog so you won't miss a thing!
