Decision Analyst originally created the American Consumer Opinion panel in early 1986 as a small mail survey panel. Members were personally invited to participate in the panel by telephone, and answered the surveys via the mail. Since the surveys were conducted by mail, membership was limited to the United States. Members primarily tested and provided their feedback on new products. By 1995, the mail survey panel had approximately 20,000 Members. Then, with the development of the Internet, the panel went online in 1996 and membership was opened up to all countries across the globe. The panel currently includes over eight million men, women, and children throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. American Consumer Opinion seeks opinions on a variety of topics. Recent surveys asked Members...
I receive about 3 or less surveys a month, but they're always high paying surveys. I enjoy the fact that I get quite a few product test surveys from them and it is easy to qualify with their surveys. They offer payments by check and PayPal only. You must make $10 before you can cashout. American Consumer Opinion website now has a new look! In addition to the new look and feel of the site, they have made some changes based on research among their Members. There will no longer be drawings for a chance to win cash prizes when you complete a screening survey. Now you will be paid Points for every screener or survey you complete. Points will range from 10 to 50 Points for screeners or screening surveys, and 100 Points to 5,000 Points or more for longer surveys. Any time you complete any type of survey with American Consumer Opinion, you will get paid! To explain more about Points-one Point equals a penny. A hundred Points equals a dollar. You can redeem Points for cash (PayPal or check mailed to you), or you can donate your Points to a worthy charity. You can cash out when your Member Account equals at least 1,000 Points (ten U.S. dollars), the same as always, as long as you follow the rules in our Terms and Conditions. Here are the Pros and Cons: Pros 1. I receive my PayPal payments within a week or two. 2. I reach payout within a month or two depending on how many surveys I complete and how much each are for. 3. I receive product test surveys. 4. I qualify for majority of their surveys. Cons 1. They need to start sending more surveys monthly so I could make more money with them. 2. I really don't like using a point system. All it does is lead to confusion. 3. No referral system. I'd give Acop.com (American Consumer Opinion) a rating of 3 stars out of 5 since they do not send as much surveys like other companies do and also for them starting to use a point system.
