We all spend hours finding the best long tail keywords to get the best traffic for our products. We may even find some buyer keywords that have low competition and we are sure we can ramp up sales with these.
Here are some other things we get involved in and they are not a bad thing. We all need traffic. Twitter has a function so we can develop followings in certain areas. Google + allows you to build groups that are targeted. Facebook allows us to build groups and fan pages. Linkedin is fairly targeted too. So we know how to get targeted traffic with excellent keywords and targeted social media. So what is better than targeted traffic? Getting a visitor to come back time and time again to read new posts and actually look for your next e-mail. It's the middle of January, but it's not to late to make a new years resolution for you business. Follow some of the suggestions below to keep those targeted visitors on your site and coming back for more. Write killer headlines for your articles Ask a question and keep the readers attention during the post. Better yet make it a little controversial. Say something like, '"Does your business actually need Twitter." Of course it does if you have a huge following, but people will read on to see what you have to say. Write killer content. The content needs to follow along with the headline and answer the question. Not only answer the question but give superior content to the reader. The reader must go away informed and looking for more great articles on your site. Make your site sticky Some of these sites you go on it seems that you have searched for "How to code php." They are drab. You know people are attracted to color. Make your site cheery but not over crowded. Depending what niche you are in, you can offer different things to keep people on your pages. Facebook is a great example of this. They make interactive games that are quit addicting. You don't have to go to that extreme but here are some methods you may consider: Make a poll or survey at the end of a post. Make it interesting though. Make a quiz that is niche related. Perhaps send one out in your emails once a week. This will make people look for your emails. Include puzzles or games on some of your pages. Keep it niche related, obviously we don't want an arcade game center on a SEO blog. A crossword here and there is cool though. Note: there are free Wordpress plugins that can do these things. Just search for them; they are easy to install. Connect a forum onto your site. If your are getting tons of questions in your in box and don't have time to answer them all, its time to build a forum. Then you can let your visitors battle it out while you are attracting even more visitors. Oh...Look! A free Gift. Find some e-books or software that you can give away when people join your list. After they have looked at your content they will be sure to sign up. Promise them more content and dedicate a day to send them e-mails. Over deliver with the content you give them and keep them informed. Introduce yourself in your first e-mails and perhaps send them to your about page. On your about page have some pictures of you and maybe your family. You want to come across to your reader a regular person. This way they can sort of connect with you and will read your posts more. Also in your e-mails. Offer something on a regular basis that will make them want to look forward to your e-mails. For example: I send my subscribers niche domain ideas every Thursday. Do some brainstorming and ask yourself, what would make me want to open an e-mail on a regular basis? There you have it. It's my wish that these steps will allow you to get targeted traffic that keeps coming back. Get four free software downloads to drive traffic to your site, Killer Content and available domain name suggestions every Thursday. http://www.buildnichestore.org/free-niche-software

If you’re thinking of starting a business, but are afraid to because of startup costs, fear not. There are many small businesses you can get into without having to spend a fortune. Following are a few businesses you can start on a budget.
Website Design Website design is a booming business, and it doesn’t cost much to start. Basically, all you need is a computer, a high-speed Internet connection, and some software--along with the knowhow to build a website. You can advertise your business over Facebook, Twitter, or other social media. If you live in a college town, it would be a good idea to put up a few flyers. Consultant Being a consultant is a business you can start for practically nothing. All you have to do is be better at something than most other people, and be able to teach others how to do it. People who have worked in any business for a long time, such as contractors, administrators, or plumbing and heating specialists, have gained a wealth of knowledge in the course of simply doing their jobs. That knowledge is valuable. All you need to do is open an office, which can be nothing more than a desk, computer, and telephone in your home, and you’re in business. The secret to success as a consultant is to make use of the contacts you’ve made during your career. Pet Care Almost every home in America has a pet of some kind, usually a cat or dog. Those animals need care that isn’t usually provided by a vet, such as grooming, pet sitting, or exercising. You can start a pet care business by putting up a few flyers. If you have a large backyard that can be used as an exercise area, or if you live near a park, you can advertise your services as a dog walker. You can take a few classes on pet grooming and start cutting toe nails and hair. Some people work for long periods of time and don’t want to leave their pets home alone. You can either go to their place or have them bring the animal to your home so you can sit with them. Catering If you love cooking and have the means to get a large amount of food from your kitchen to other venues, then becoming a caterer is something to consider. It won’t cost a lot to get started; you may already own enough pots and pans to cook for a large group. A few flyers posted on bulletin boards and an advertisement or two in local newspapers may land you a couple of jobs, and once you’re established word-of-mouth advertising will continue to bring in jobs--providing your customers like the food, and you deliver it on time. Freelance Writing Another job that is easy to get into is freelance writing. It can be a bit time consuming, so be prepared to spend a lot of time in front of a computer. All it takes to start is a computer, telephone, printer, and high-speed Internet connection. There are lots of freelance writing jobs available on the Internet. You can also approach your local newspaper and ask to become a stringer. Crafting If you have a hobby that involves making handmade items, it’s possible to turn that into a business. You can begin by renting booth space at art and craft fairs. To be successful, your work will need to be very good. Becoming a freelance artist or crafter can be as simple as opening a studio or gallery in your own home. Tax Preparation A service that is always in demand is a tax preparer. Because the tax laws continue to change, you will need to keep up with them, but opening a tax preparation business is relatively inexpensive. All you need is a desk, a computer, a telephone, and an Internet connection. If you’ve not already familiar with filling out tax forms, you may want to take a few classes. Once you’re ready to begin, you can advertise by putting up flyers on community bulletin boards. Telephone Sales A number of businesses are downsizing their in-house staff by hiring independent contractors to do telephone sales from their homes. All you need to get started are a computer, a telephone, and an Internet connection. It would help considerably if you have contacts within the industry for the products you’re trying to sell. Personal Service Another job that doesn’t take any special qualifications to get started is to provide personal services for families where both spouses work. Often they don’t have time to take care of simple things like grocery shopping, party planning, or picking up the kids from school. All you need to get started is a reliable vehicle and a way for people to get in touch with you. Cleaning Service Offering your services as housekeeper is an inexpensive way to start a business. Because a lot of households have both spouses working, they may not have time to keep the house clean. You can advertise by putting up flyers on community bulletin boards or by taking out an ad in a local newspaper. Guest post from Bailey Harris. Bailey writes for BusinessInsurance.org. The problem is home décor can often be expensive and tough on the wallet. Luckily there are some ways to save money on the things we crave for our homes. If you would like to know how you can get discounts on home décor, check out the following tips.
Formulate a Plan Before you can begin your quest for discounts on home décor, you should formulate a plan for each room you plan to decorate. If you have a general idea of how you want each room to look, it will be easier to find items that match your idea. It will also allow you to shop around for the items you want, which will help you find the best prices. If you do not have an idea of how you want to decorate your home, you may end up purchasing more items than you need. Shop Around Once you have a general idea of how you want to decorate your home, you can begin looking for the items on your list. Start out at department stores to look for any big ticket items on your list. Do not purchase anything you find at these stores, unless it is a bargain you simply cannot turn down. Jot down the prices of any items you find at these stores, as you will use these figures as a reference when you set out to find lower, discounted prices. After you have visited department stores to get the full, retail prices of any pieces you want, you should then visit discount home stores, resale shops, flea markets, and garage sales to see if you can find your items for less. Keep in mind you may not find the exact pieces you saw in a department store, but similar items will probably suffice if they are reasonably priced. You will be surprised at how much home décor you can find at discount prices. Shopping around will give you the best chance for finding what you want at prices you can afford. Hit the Internet The internet is a wonderful place for finding discounts on home décor. With all the websites that exist, you will more than likely be able to find the items you want to decorate your home with. You can usually find what you are looking for by doing a simple web search of any item you have in mind. Another great thing about the internet is its ability to let you comparison shop. Sites like Amazon are great because they provide you with many search results for items, which allows you to compare prices and retailers side-by-side. You can also get discounts on home décor by using coupon codes, otherwise known as discount codes. Although every website is different, many of them provide coupon codes that allow you to deduct a certain percentage or dollar amount from your order. Many online retailers also offer free shipping on merchandise if you spend a certain amount of money. There are also members-only websites that give you discounts on many high end home décor items. These sites usually require you to sign up and pay a fee in order to join. Although this may not sound appealing in the beginning, these sites often offer great discounts on very expensive designer merchandise. You never know; you may find that extravagant vase you saw at the department store for half price. These tips can easily help you get discounts on home décor. Just remember you may have to spend some time shopping around for the items you want, but it will definitely be worth it in the long run. Guest post from Bailey Harris. These questions will help people learn that there are scam free ways to make money online. Let have a discussion about this in the comments below. A lot of people like to think that they are smarter than retail stores, but this simply isn’t the case. Retail stores often spend thousands of dollars and incredible amounts of time in creating the best advertisements. Simple words like ‘last chance’ or ‘sale ends in X amount of hours’ certainly draws the attention of many people. Learn how to be smarter than the tricky advertisements so that at the end of the day, you aren’t wasting your money.
12 ways to stop wasting your money on attractive deals: 1. Think it over – If you see an item that you want really bad, sleep on it or visit the store at a later time. By doing this, you are allowing yourself time to think so that you avoid purchasing the item impulsively. 2. Pay attention to unit prices – Just because an item is surrounded with big signs doesn’t mean it is always the best deal. Be sure to check the unit prices to see which item offers more for your money. The unit price on items can be located on the bar code inside the sleeve on a store shelf. 3. Look over credit card offers – Many credit card companies gain new customers when they offer 0 percent interest rates or 6 months to a year to pay off purchases. Be sure to check the fine print as sometimes there are a lot of hoops to jump through to receive the rate or to not pay for a certain amount of time. 4. Go shopping alone – The checkout aisles are filled with things that children love. This is really due to the strategic placing of advertisements and deal signs to attract the attention of young ones. If you are able, go shopping alone so that you are not tempted to buy your children items that are not needed. 5. Unsubscribe from mailing lists – Receiving emails or catalogues in the mail can be tempting and can put a strain on your financials. Do yourself a favor and unsubscribe so that temptation is not in your inbox or mailbox. Many companies offer a 1-click solution to unsubscribing via their websites or a form you mail to them expressing your desire to unsubscribe. 6. Evaluate rewards programs – Not all rewards programs are great. Some will require you to spend a lot of money to receive something that is half the cost of all that money you spent. 7. Avoid clearing the grocery shelves – Most grocery stores will cycle through their sales about every three months. Ignore the last chance advertisements as most are not true. Buy what you need and what you can afford at the moment and know that the same item(s) will be for sale again later on. 8. Figure out your current finances – If you know you don’t have the excess funds to buy an attractive deal, then consider passing on it. Paying your utility bills and other necessary bills as well as putting money into a savings account always come first. 9. Compare different stores – Sometimes a deal can be found at multiple stores. Research and compare to see where you can save the most money. 10. Banks offering free accounts or services – Once again, it is best to look over the fine print as there are many requirements you have to meet in order to receive a free account. Some banks also offer a cash incentive to attract new customers. 11. Avoid buying weight loss products – Many health companies make big promises, especially weight loss supplements, but if the drug has not been approved by the FDA, then consider it a gamble. 12. Don’t buy the latest in technology – By being patient, you could score an electronic item for very cheap. Ignore the advertisements for the latest and greatest in technology because an upgraded version will be following suit in no time at all. It is best to look at attractive deals and advertisements will a clear head as this will allow for more comprehensive thinking. Make the right choices for yourself and/or your family and if it’s needed, make out a list of pros and cons of the item you desperately want. Attractive deals exist to catch the consumer’s eye, but with these tips, you now know how to shop smart. The article is written by Marina. Custom Logo design is an important or one could safely say core part of an organization. It creates a virtual identity of the business and promotes that identity among the populace. It is also safe to say that establishing a business without a general identity – a logo – can damage not only yours but also your business’s reputation in the market. A unique and elegantly crafted logo design is a must for every company as it provides reliability and visibility in the market, plus the whole business thrives on it. However, it is also important to note that price of the logo is also an important criterion since logos and logo designers don’t come cheap. Professional logo designers tend to highly steep prices for their logo which many cannot manage to afford, especially those who are establishing a new business. Still, there are many cheap or often free offers available on internet but availing those options would be nothing but sabotaging the quality of your logo.
Free designs: Free logos are not hard to locate as you only need to search “free logos” on a search engine and you will be given thousands of results. Free logo design websites offer dozens of free logos that are readily available for download. You can pick out the one you like, download it and can edit it as per your liking. However, you should never forget the fact that such logos would lack the uniqueness, attractiveness, quality and furthermore copyright issues. Custom logo design: Custom logo design companies have decades of expertise in providing corporate with a unique and professional identity. These companies hire professional staff of logo designers who have years of experience in designing unique logos every day. Moreover, once you pick out your desired logo design you will be given the copyright license of that logo. However, these logo designs are a little expensive and the designing of those logos might take some time. This is a guest post written by Alex John who works for custom logo design and banner ad design company. |
