Decision Analyst originally created the American Consumer Opinion panel in early 1986 as a small mail survey panel. Members were personally invited to participate in the panel by telephone, and answered the surveys via the mail. Since the surveys were conducted by mail, membership was limited to the United States. Members primarily tested and provided their feedback on new products. By 1995, the mail survey panel had approximately 20,000 Members.

Then, with the development of the Internet, the panel went online in 1996 and membership was opened up to all countries across the globe. The panel currently includes over eight million men, women, and children throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

American Consumer Opinion seeks opinions on a variety of topics. Recent surveys asked Members...

  • To evaluate new advertising for a retailer.
  • About how and why they purchase and the use of gifts cards.
  • Their opinions about the current economy.
  • Their thoughts about tanning products and how often tanning products are used.
  • To review an idea for a new fuel additive product for an automotive company.
  • To taste test a new snack food for a food manufacturer.
  • How happy they were with customer service from their local utility.

I receive about 3 or less surveys a month, but they're always high paying surveys.  I enjoy the fact that I get quite a few product test surveys from them and it is easy to qualify with their surveys.

They offer payments by check and PayPal only.  You must make $10 before you can cashout.

American Consumer Opinion website now has a new look! In addition to the new look and feel of the site, they have made some changes based on research among their Members. There will no longer be drawings for a chance to win cash prizes when you complete a screening survey. Now you will be paid Points for every screener or survey you complete. Points will range from 10 to 50 Points for screeners or screening surveys, and 100 Points to 5,000 Points or more for longer surveys. Any time you complete any type of survey with American Consumer Opinion, you will get paid! To explain more about Points-one Point equals a penny. A hundred Points equals a dollar. You can redeem Points for cash (PayPal or check mailed to you), or you can donate your Points to a worthy charity. You can cash out when your Member Account equals at least 1,000 Points (ten U.S. dollars), the same as always, as long as you follow the rules in our Terms and Conditions.

Here are the Pros and Cons:

Pros

1. I receive my PayPal payments within a week or two.

2. I reach payout within a month or two depending on how many surveys I complete and how much each are for.

3. I receive product test surveys.

4. I qualify for majority of their surveys.

Cons

1. They need to start sending more surveys monthly so I could make more money with them.

2. I really don't like using a point system.  All it does is lead to confusion.

3. No referral system.

So I would give Acop.com (American Consumer Opinion) a rating of 3 stars out of 5 since they do not send as much surveys like other companies do and also for them starting to use a point system.

SurveySavvy.com is a online survey panel company that pays you for your opinions on different products from advertisers.

SurveySavvy.com company started back in 1999 with Luth Research, and unlike other survey companies that only rewards you for completing surveys, SurveySavvy.com pays you also for referring new members to their website.  So that doubles the way of making money with them!

Their surveys range from $1-$50 depending on the length of their surveys.

Also if you do not qualify for one of their surveys, you're still enter into their monthly drawings to win $10 that goes towards your account. (I won this drawing once since I been a member)

There is no confusing point system with SurveySavvy.com, so you will know exactly how much you will get paid for each completed survey.  Also no payout limit, meaning, if you only have an dollar in your account, you can still cash out anytime.  Payments are made by check only, and you're paid within a month of cashing out.

Pros:

1. Easy to qualify for most of their surveys.  I qualify with about 65% of their surveys which is pretty good.

2. They offer quite a bit of high paying surveys.

3. They have an helpful staff on Facebook if you have questions.

4. I never had technical problems with any of their surveys.

5. Always paid in a timely manner.

6. No payout limit.

Cons:

1.  Payments are only made by check, which causes you to have to wait for it by mail.  (Takes up to a month to receive)

2.  I only receive about 6 or 7 surveys from them a month.

Overall SurveySavvy.com is a good survey panel company.  I give them a rating 4 out of 5.

Love is in the air today, millions of people hearts are filled with love and joy for that special someone, but unfortunately the love and joy I once had with SurveySpot.com is quickly disappearing!

SurveySpot.com use to be my favorite online paid survey company and was even the first online paid survey company I joined!  I enjoyed easily qualifying for their paid online surveys, getting many invites to their high paid online focus groups, and getting a lot of paid product testing  online surveys.  I remember when I would make their $10 payout within a week, but those days has long past.

Since Surveyspot.com has gone to a new system, I can hardly qualify for any of their surveys!  It has been over 6 months since I have made payout with them!  SurveySpot.com keep sending me survey invites in my email box of surveys I have already completed and the survey tells me "I have already completed the survey and not qualify, so I can not get any points for it."  If that is the case then WHY ARE THEY SENDING ME INVITES TO SURVEYS I HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED AND DIDN'T QUALIFY FOR THE FIRST TIME?

This survey company is starting to really tick me off!  They use to be one of the best and oldest online paid survey companies on the Internet.

The only good thing about Surveyspot.com is that they pay you immediately to your Pay Pal account once you cash out and make $10 (1000 points) payout, but it is pretty much pointless when you can't even make payout because you can't qualify for any of their surveys!!!!!

SurveySpot.com needs to get it together or I will sadly have to close my account with them and remove their link on my Work From Home page.

Sorry for my rant on this day that is suppose to be about love, hugs, and roses but I had to get it off my chest because once again this morning I didn't qualify for any of their online surveys, so they wasted my time.

I'm wondering if their starting to become a scam like some of the other online paid survey websites?

Are you having the same problems with SurveySpot.com like I am?

Oh yeah Happy Valentine's Day!  I hope your day is filled with happiness and joy!

One night while watching the show Teen Mom on MTV (one of my guilty pleasures) I came across a commercial called BigSpot.com.  You may have also seen the commercial too and is wondering if this website is real or fake?

They were stating that you can make extra money online voicing your opinions with online surveys with no fees!  Market researchers are looking for consumers to evaluate their products and give their honest opinion on it and you can be rewarded for it.

I knew I had to check them out since I love making extra money online with paid online surveys.  But I needed to make sure this company is legitimate, so I went online to take a look.

Upon arriving on the website, it looked pretty real to me and website was professionally done so I decided I would fill out my information to get started.  (I used my barely used Email address just in case this website is fake because scammers like to sell your email address).

After filling out my information, BigSpot.com led me to a new page with a list of survey websites I can join for free.  I noticed almost all the survey websites they had listed base on my age are the ones I have already signed up with and also the survey companies are listed on my Work From Home page

There were a couple I have never signed up before called Quality Health and RewardTV.  I clicked on them both and they both do not look like a paid survey websites, but instead look like an Paid Offers website.  I did not sign up with them since I am already a member with plenty of Paid Offer programs.

Also I noticed they started sending me email alerts each day of online survey companies I should join.

So is BigSpot.com real or just another online scam?  I will say Yes and No.

Yes they could be potentially a scam because they asked for my information when they are not even a survey company themselves, they're just the middle men referring people to paid survey websites and getting paid for leads and also could be selling peoples' information.

No they could actually be a legitimate website since they do advertise real paid survey companies.  Also they may not be selling peoples' information (hopefully not). But always stay cautious!

Remember....NEVER PAY MONEY TO ANY SURVEY COMPANY BECAUSE IT IS A SCAM!  Market Researchers pay the survey companies to find the right consumers for them to complete their surveys.

Have you ever used BigSpot.com?  If so, what was your experience?

E-Rewards is one of my top favorite survey websites!  They send me a few surveys a day in my email box to complete for different rewards.

This program is one of the highest paying survey websites with surveys averaging from $4 to $10 or more a survey.

The qualification for each survey is pretty high so my money adds up fairly quickly!

The type of rewards E-Rewards offers for their members are: different flight companies flight air miles, magazine subscriptions, discounts on rent a cars, gifts cards to Macy's, JcPenneys, Pizza Hut, etc.

I love to get their $25 gift card from Macy's so I can buy makeup!  I also receive my gift cards in a timely manner when I request them unlike other survey companies that can take over a month or two!

E-Rewards is by invitation only so if I hear about any openings I will let you all know.  But to think about it, I have no idea how I received an invitation to join E-Rewards.  Maybe the company contacted me personally.  Who knows!

I give E-Rewards 5 stars!

Toluna.com is a free survey website that you get paid for your opinion on a variety of  different products and complete polls.

Toluna.com sends you several different surveys a day to complete online for cash rewards.  Sometimes they will send you product test surveys in which you test free products they send to your home and then complete a survey afterwards which I love!

Also Toluna.com invite their members into interactive surveys which you complete a survey in a chat room setting with other members and a moderator.  These types of surveys can pay $20 or more!  Another thing I love!

The type of rewards you can receive are:

1. Vouchers- Facebook Credits, Tango Card, My Choice Works, and Billboard Music Download

2. Sweepstakes Entries

3. Payments by check

For best result, complete your profile fully to get the best match survey that is right for you because advertisers are looking for certain demographic and you don't want to receive a bunch of surveys that you will never qualify which is a waste of your time!

I have always been paid by them with no problems and receive a lot of surveys throughout the day, everyday!  I qualify for a lot of the surveys they send me so Toluna.com is on top of my favorite list!

I give them 5 stars!
